Engineer Maintenance & Reliability – Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC

Job Role:

Lead the Maintenance Function and ensure reliable, efficient operations at Chevron’s manufacturing plant, warehouse, and Base Oil terminal in compliance with Chevron’s Tenants of Operation and ISO Quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Mobilizing in-house & external teams for routine maintenance of plant equipment/instrumentation.
• Ensuring backup systems for equipment failure prevention.
• Driving efficiency improvements and minimizing bottlenecks.
• Assisting in budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX) and maintaining maintenance inventories.
• Acting as high-consequence scenario owner for critical processes.
• Ensuring maintenance teams meet required skill levels.

Requirements:

✔ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (reputed university).
✔ 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in a reputed organization).
✔ Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
✔ Working experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
✔ Strong technical & commercial acumen for stakeholder management.
✔ Leadership skills in managing hybrid teams & service providers.
